Laticrete Strata Mat Uncoupling Membrane

Strata Mat uncoupling membrane is a high performance floor underlayment for use in tile and stone installations across residential and commercial applications. Designed to replace traditional underlayment materials, the unique patented design of Strata Mat provides for an enhanced mechanical bond of thin-set adhesive with a faster dry time. Specifically designed for use with both modified and unmodified mortars, Strata Mat flooring underlayment allows for the proper thin-set adhesive to be used with porcelain or large format tiles and stone.

    Laticrete Strata Mat Uncoupling Membrane, 45" X 40

    Finally got around to using the Strata Mat for bathroom floor tiling. Have had no negative issues. I have nothing to compare it to since this is my first tile job. The product appears to do everything claimed for it. I do like being able to use modified thinset (254 Platinum) both under and over the mat. I would recommend it to others and have no reason to consider competitive products.

    Excellent Service

    The listed item I wanted was out of stock. So I emailed Stone Tooling to ask when they would be getting the smaller roll of Laticrete Strata Mat that I wanted. They quickly returned an email with actual information I could use. And the news was good, they were going to change the listing in a couple days to indicate the stock was available. I placed my order within the week and have had the item delivered.

    Works well for uncoupling membrane

    This membrane lays as well as the orange counter part at a reduced price. It seems to be as easy to work with as the other, so I would see no reason not to use it again.

    Strata Mat

    Used Strata Mat, Ditra uncoupling membrane, and Custom's Spider Web. Out of the 3 I like Strata Mat the best, very user friendly, not limited what type of thin set to use, good width also .

    It is a good product

    A good product to use. It is easier to install than Ditra and cheaper too. Only thing it is not waterproof.

    Love strata mat!

    Strata mat is my go to membrane in non-wet areas! It's a very good product, easy to install, uses less thinset to fill than other mats and fills easier due to the shape of the pockets. I've personally purchased and installed over a half dozen rolls, and installed probably well over a dozen and a half with no problems!
