Overview
Schluter KERDI-SEAL-PS waterproofs around a pipe nipple where it passes through a tiled wall assembly. A rubber gasket grips the pipe while the surrounding KERDI collar bonds into the membrane, protecting the backing at the penetration without building a seal from several cut strips.

Is the valve-opening seal the same item?
No. KERDI-SEAL-PS addresses pipe nipples; the larger KERDI-SEAL-MV is intended for a mixing-valve opening.
