Overview
Schluter KERDI-BOARD-SB is a prefabricated shower bench with a sloped, tile-ready top. The lightweight KERDI-BOARD construction provides the bench shape without building a separate framed seat. Choose triangular or rectangular dimensions to fit the shower; each bench includes corner pieces appropriate to its shape.

Applications
Use a triangular bench for corner seating or a rectangular bench along a shower wall.
Plan Your Installation
- Compare the bench footprint with the usable shower floor. A triangular model occupies a corner; the rectangular models provide a longer seat along a wall.
- Account for the 20-inch bench height and the finished tile buildup when coordinating the seat with the rest of the shower.
- Plan the bench-to-wall and bench-to-floor seals before tiling. Use the corner pieces supplied for the selected shape as part of the specified waterproofing detail.
Common Planning Questions
Do all shapes have the same corner pieces?
No. Triangular benches use the 135-degree and right/left bench-corner arrangement; rectangular benches use 90-degree inside and outside corners.
Is the top already sloped?
Yes. Preserve the intended drainage direction when locating and finishing the prefabricated bench.
