Applications
Use as a recessed shampoo or toiletry compartment in a tiled shower wall.
Plan Your Installation
- Choose the compartment around the items it will store. Compare the 12 × 6, 12 × 12, 12 × 20 and 12 × 28-inch interior sizes, then check the required wall opening before framing.
- Coordinate the niche height with the wall-tile layout so the surrounding cuts and trim are planned before installation.
- Allow for the 3-1/2-inch niche depth and complete the niche-to-wall waterproofing connection as part of the KERDI or KERDI-BOARD assembly.
Common Planning Questions
Do the larger choices include a shelf?
Not the current selections on this listing. Plan a compatible shelf separately if you want divided storage.
Is the inside already a finished shower surface?
No. KERDI-BOARD-SN is a tile-ready niche. Include its interior tile and perimeter finish in the material calculation.
