Overview
Schluter KERDI-BOARD-SC is a prefabricated shower curb that provides a lightweight, tile-ready alternative to building a curb from individual framing and backing materials. It can be cut to the required length, or multiple curbs can be installed next to one another for a wider opening. Joints and corners still need to be sealed.

Plan Your Installation
- Choose the curb length against the actual shower entrance: 38, 48 and 60-inch selections are listed.
- Include the 4-1/2-inch width and 6-inch height in the layout before adding tile and mortar thickness.
- Plan the waterproofing at both curb ends and along its connections to the tray and walls; the curb is a component of that assembly, not a substitute for sealing the joints.
- Dry-fit the selected curb length before setting it and completing the waterproofed connections.
Common Planning Questions
Is this the finished curb surface?
No. It is a tile-ready KERDI-BOARD curb; the finish tile is part of the shower installation.
Is it included with every tray listing?
No. This is the separate curb listing. Check the contents of any tray or shower kit being ordered to avoid a duplicate.
