Schluter KERDI-BOARD-SNLT combines a tile-ready shower niche with integrated LIPROTEC LED lighting. A waterproof cable connection box keeps the electrical connection within the designed wet-area detail. Choose the vertical or horizontal niche configuration for the wall layout, then plan the matching cable and power/control components before closing the wall.

Plan Your Installation
- Select the actual vertical or horizontal model before framing. The listed 12-inch-wide vertical niches and 20- or 28-inch-wide horizontal niches have different lighting configurations.
- Plan the LIPROTEC cable route and the accessible driver/control location before closing the wall. Choose the cable length from the route, not just the straight-line distance.
- Coordinate the tiled recess, wall waterproofing and supplied connection-box detail. The cover patch aids mortar adhesion and is not a replacement for the waterproof electrical connection.

Are all sizes rated at 118 lumens?
No. That figure applies to the vertical models here; horizontal models use different strip lengths and outputs.
Which power components should I plan?
Choose the compatible LIPROTEC cable and driver/control arrangement for the niche layout. The ECX and ECD drivers have different total load limits and control arrangements.
