Overview
QUIKRETE Wall Float is a pre-blended leveling mortar for preparing vertical and overhead surfaces before tile installation. This 75 lb bag combines Portland cement, hydrated lime, graded sand and other ingredients for interior or exterior wall and ceiling work.

Applications
Wall and Ceiling Tile Preparation
Use to level properly prepared concrete or masonry, or properly prepared wood walls with metal lath, before installing travertine, slate, marble or ceramic tile. Wood construction requires the lath and water-barrier preparation described in the technical data sheet; the mortar is not a substitute for that assembly.
Mixing and Scheduling
Add water according to the linked technical data sheet. Allow at least 24 hours before applying mortar or thin-set. For applications requiring enhanced bonding, the data sheet describes either an acrylic-fortifier mix or a bonding adhesive; do not combine both methods. Follow its substrate, temperature and curing requirements for the job.
