Overview
PMP Deck Mud is a dry-pack leveling mortar for tile and masonry work on floors and countertops. The 75 lb bag contains a factory-preblended mix of washed plaster sand and Type II/V cement, intended to be compacted and screeded into a mortar bed.

Applications
Use as a leveling mortar underlayment for pavers, tile and marble on floors or countertops. Mix only with enough clean, potable water to form a ball when compacted, then compact and screed the bed into place.
Selection and Use
- Allow proper cure before applying adhesives; do not accelerate curing with fans.
- Test bonding-mortar suitability. Consult the manufacturer about compatibility and cure time before using epoxy mortars.
- Do not overwater or overmix. Do not apply if temperatures are below, or may fall below, 40°F before curing.
- Use the stated 1-inch coverage as an estimate and adjust material quantities for actual bed thickness.
