Overview
QUIKRETE Deck Mud is a Portland-cement and graded-sand leveling mortar for floor and countertop underlayment. It is supplied as a dry blend requiring water, with separate 50 lb and 75 lb bag options for interior or exterior tile, paver and marble installations.

Applications
Prepare the Base for Tile or Stone
Use to prepare or level floor and countertop substrates before installing pavers, tile or marble. Apply over concrete or properly prepared wood floors using the required underlayment assembly. This is a mortar bed material, not Portland cement to be manufactured on site.
Bag Size and Mixing
Select the bag weight required for the project and follow the product directions for water addition, placement and curing. Do not use floor-underlayment instructions for walls or overhead work; those applications are excluded for Deck Mud.
