Overview
QUIKRETE Concrete Accelerator is an additive for shortening the set time of concrete mix. The 1.5 lb box is intended to be added to the concrete mix; it is not a ready-to-use concrete product on its own.

Applications
Posts, Piers and Curbs
Use where a faster concrete set is desired for fence and lamp posts, basketball backboards, swing sets, piers or curbs. Plan the quantity around the manufacturer’s one- or two-box dosage for each 60 lb bag of mix.
Faster setting does not establish a universal loading or cure time. Follow the concrete mix and accelerator directions for the installation rather than assuming the work is ready for service as soon as it sets.
