Overview
NobleSeal SIS is a thin CPE underlayment combining impact-sound reduction, crack isolation and properly detailed waterproofing beneath compatible hard-surface floors. Its approximately 0.050" profile is useful in renovations where added floor height affects doors, cabinets and transitions.

Applications
Use beneath approved interior hard-surface floors in homes, apartments, condominiums, hotels, schools or similar projects where impact-noise control matters. Suitable prepared substrates include concrete, cured mortar beds, tile backer board, appropriate plywood, radiant-heated assemblies and properly primed gypsum. Confirm any laminate or wood-floor installation with the complete flooring system.
Selection and Use
- Sound ratings apply to tested assemblies, not the membrane alone. Compare the projectās slab, ceiling, finish and acoustic requirements with the test configuration.
- Bond with a compatible specified adhesive and embed fully. If waterproofing is required, complete sealed seams and all perimeter, penetration and drain details.
- Do not use outdoors, as a wearing surface or to correct structural deficiencies or excessive deflection. Maintain required movement joints.
- The lifetime material warranty is subject to the approved assembly, correct installation and stated remedies; it does not guarantee every finished floorās acoustic rating.
