Overview
LATICRETE 559 Sure Set LHT is a polymer-modified mortar for large and heavy ceramic, porcelain, marble and stone on suitable floors and walls. Its non-sag/non-slump consistency supports heavy finishes and helps control lippage in the specified installation.

Applications
Use on suitable cured concrete, cement backer board, mortar beds, HYDRO BAN Board, cement plaster/terrazzo, masonry, prepared resilient tile or existing tile/stone. Exterior-glue plywood is interior-only; gypsum wallboard is for interior non-wet use.
Plan Your Installation
- Choose white or grey and the trowel size for the actual finish and required mortar contact.
- Do not use submerged or directly on particleboard, luan, Masonite or hardwood.
- Do not install below freezing, and follow the complete temperature/cure instructions.
- Provide separate waterproofing in assemblies that require it.
Common Planning Questions
Does the 3/4 in. allowance mean the floor needs no preparation?
No. Confirm substrate condition and the required mortar-bed detail; the maximum buildup is not a substitute for checking the floor.
