Overview
LATICRETE LHT PLUS is a polymer-modified mortar for large-format ceramic, porcelain, marble and stone on floors and walls. Its large-and-heavy-tile formulation supports heavy finishes in a one-step installation and permits buildup up to 3/4 in. without the stated shrinkage or set-up problems.

Applications
Use over suitable concrete, brick or concrete masonry, mortar beds, cement plaster, cement terrazzo, cement backer board, HYDRO BAN Board and existing ceramic tile or stone. Exterior-glue plywood is for interior installations only; gypsum wallboard and prepared vinyl or non-water-soluble cutback require their specified installation details.
Plan Your Installation
- Select LHT PLUS for the actual tile weight, substrate and wall or floor setting—not solely the tile dimensions.
- Choose a trowel that provides the required contact beneath the tile and verify bedding during placement.
- Check preparation requirements before bonding to an existing finish or adhesive residue.
Common Planning Questions
Is exterior-glue plywood approved outdoors?
No. The plywood approval is for interior installations; the plywood name does not expand that exposure limit.
