Overview
Quick Cure Mortar Bed is a rapid-setting, polymer-fortified blend of portland cement and graded aggregates for thick-bed tile and stone assemblies. It mixes with water without a separate latex admix and supports faster shower-system construction when paired with the specified waterproofing.

Applications
Use for conventional thick mortar beds and shower bases over suitable concrete, masonry, mortar beds, cement plaster, terrazzo, tile/stone or approved backer board. Plywood requires the interior cleavage-membrane and reinforcing detail—not a direct thin-set application.
Plan Your Installation
- For ramping to a feather edge, use the specified bonded-bed assembly and slurry bond coat.
- Ready for foot traffic in as soon as 60 minutes under the specified conditions. Follow the package instructions for subsequent membrane timing; rapid readiness depends on temperature and the installation.
- Plan the waterproofing as a separate system layer and follow its own cure/flood-test schedule.
