LATICRETE 272 Mortar is a white cementitious thin-set powder for ceramic tile and stone. It can be mixed with water or the specified latex admixture, depending on the substrate and installation. Its workable, high-tack consistency suits both wall and floor setting.

Applications
Use for interior or exterior ceramic tile and stone on suitable concrete, cement plaster, mortar beds, concrete or brick masonry, cement terrazzo, existing tile/stone and cement backer board. The required admixture changes with the substrate and exposure.
Plan Your Installation
- For interior exterior-glue plywood installations, use 333 Super Flexible Additive; do not interpret the substrate name as approval to bond with water-mixed 272 alone.
- For exterior work, fortify with 333 Super Flexible Additive or 3701 Mortar Admix as directed.
- For pools, fountains, showers and bathtubs, the linked sheet specifies 3701 Mortar Admix; follow its cure and filling instructions.
- Use the recommended specialty adhesive for green marble, water-sensitive materials or resin-backed tile/stone.
