Overview
MVIS Premium Mortar Bed is a polymer-fortified, water-mixed material for building the bed or render beneath a veneer finish. The preblended portland cement, polymers and graded aggregates eliminate separate latex admixture and job-site powder blending.

- Can serve as the specified scratch or finish coat in place of Type S or Type N mortar.
- Exceeds ASTM C270 compressive-strength requirements for veneer installations.
- Pumpable formulation supports larger projects.

Applications
Use for suitable interior/exterior wet or dry mortar-bed applications, renders and concrete repairs. It prepares the backing assembly; it is not the adhesive for attaching the finished stone, tile or brick.
Plan Your Installation
- Plan the thickness and required bonded or reinforced assembly before estimating bags.
- Mix with the specified water quantity and follow the placement method for the task.
- Use an MVIS adhesive mortar for the finish and provide the wall’s specified air/water barrier separately.
