Overview
LATICRETE 317 is a cementitious thin-set mortar powder for ceramic tile and stone. It mixes with water or a specified latex admixture. Choose the mixing liquid for the tile, substrate and exposure: exterior work, porcelain, mosaics, glass, stone and heavy-traffic applications require fortification.

Applications
Use for wall and floor tile installation over suitable concrete, brick or concrete masonry, cement backer board, mortar beds, cement plaster, cement terrazzo and existing tile or stone. Gypsum wallboard and exterior-glue plywood require the appropriate interior installation details.

- Fortify with 333 Super Flexible Additive or 3701 Mortar Admix for exterior use, porcelain, mosaics, glass, stone and heavy traffic.
- Do not assume water-mixed 317 is approved for a latex-required assembly; check the selected admixture’s substrate requirements.
