Overview

MVIS Veneer Mortar is a fiber-reinforced, polymer-fortified adhesive for adhered masonry veneer, manufactured stone and thin brick. Its non-sag formula mixes with water and supports specified vertical, horizontal and overhead veneer work.

Applications

Use for suitable residential or commercial interior/exterior adhered veneer assemblies. Choose the bonding method and substrate preparation for the veneer and location, including overhead support and code requirements.

Plan Your Installation

• Do not use submerged or in steam rooms; the linked sheet directs those exposures to MVIS Hi-Bond Veneer Mortar.
• Use the specified epoxy for resin-backed, green marble or moisture-sensitive finishes.
• Coordinate the adhesive with the wall’s air/water barrier; mortar alone does not replace that layer.
