MVIS Hi-Bond Veneer Mortar is a high-performance, polymer-fortified thin-set for adhered masonry veneer and suitable tile or stone. Its smooth, water-mixed formula offers long open time and strong shear adhesion for demanding installations, including the specified exterior and submerged assemblies.

Applications

Use for suitable interior/exterior stone, ceramic, quarry tile, pavers and thin brick on approved substrates. Concrete and masonry are principal veneer substrates; exterior-glue plywood is restricted to interior installations.

Common Planning Questions

Does Hi-Bond replace the wall’s air/water barrier?

No. The adhesive mortar and the building-envelope control layers serve different functions.
