Overview
MVIS Lightweight Mortar provides non-sag veneer adhesion in a lighter 30 lb bag. The white polymer-fortified formula gives approximately the coverage of a conventional 50 lb mortar and supports large or heavy thin brick, stone, masonry veneer and tile on walls.

Applications
Use for suitable interior or exterior wall installations of thin brick, veneer, stone or tile on approved concrete, CMU, existing tile/stone, terrazzo and backer board. Plywood and gypsum applications require their interior-only, non-wet restrictions.
Plan Your Installation
- Use the mortar-specific pigment dosage and mixing process if coloring; do not apply a grout-base recipe to mortar.
- Confirm the selected substrate and veneer backing, and follow local code requirements.
- Provide the specified air/water barrier separately and verify bedding during installation.
