Installation Instructions:
- Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean and primed with Fracture Ban Primer.
- Measuring: Measure the area and cut the Fracture Ban length 6” to 8” longer than needed for a trimmed fit.
- Application: Lay Fracture Ban on the surface with the release liner side down. Pull the release paper off the membrane while smoothing ridges and air pockets to ensure 100% contact and a strong bond.
- Trimming: Trim excess material at walls, corners, or terminations as needed.
- Subsequent Rolls: Apply subsequent rolls in the same manner, ensuring edges are butted together.
Additional Information:
- Primer Requirement: Must be used with Fracture Ban Primer for interior applications. For exterior applications, use VAPOR BAN Primer ER.
- Adhesive Composition: Hot-applied polymer-modified asphaltic adhesive coated on 100% polyester non-woven with a #60 release liner paper.
