FRACTURE BAN 90 is a 90-mil peel-and-stick underlayment for crack isolation and sound reduction beneath suitable interior tile and stone floors. Its thicker sheet format combines these functions in a reinforced, pliable roll with an adhesive backing.

Applications
Use in appropriate residential and commercial floors where impact-sound reduction and crack protection are needed. Suitable prepared bases include concrete, mortar beds, interior plywood, OSB, approved gypsum, precast panels, radiant-heated floors, backer board, terrazzo, tile/stone and specified existing resilient finishes.
Plan Your Installation
- Use the required FRACTURE BAN Primer/Primer Plus procedure; wet-area details require the specified epoxy primer.
- Distinguish crack width from movement: the sheet addresses cracks up to 3/8 in. but limits horizontal movement to 1/4 in., requires preparation for wider existing cracks, and excludes vertical movement.
- Verify sound performance against the complete tested floor/ceiling assembly.
- Do not use as waterproofing. Check moisture-sensitive stone and mortar buildup restrictions before setting.
