Overview
LATICRETE 4-XLT is a multi-use polymer-fortified mortar for non-sag wall setting, thin-set work and large-and-heavy-tile floor applications. It provides a smooth, creamy working consistency and supports a bonding bed up to 3/4 in. where the installation calls for it.

Applications
Use on suitable concrete, concrete block, concrete/brick masonry, existing tile/stone, cement backer board and properly prepared listed renovation substrates. Plywood, gypsum wallboard and non-water-soluble cutback require the appropriate substrate-specific installation detail.
Plan Your Installation
- Select the trowel and mortar bed for the tile’s required bedding; the maximum buildup is not a universal target thickness.
- Check the selected substrate and exposure against the linked data sheet before setting tile.
- Use the standard 4-XLT working schedule, not the rapid-grouting schedule of the separate 4-XLT Rapid product.
