Gemini 1038 is the Fine Dichroic Blade kit for Taurus I, II and II.2 saws. Its slim, fine-diamond profile is intended for thin dichroic and iridescent-coated glass, with the older-generation Taurus grommet package.

Applications
Choose this kit for detailed shapes in thin coated glass, such as glass-jewelry and decorative pieces. It is not the aggressive blade choice for ceramic tile or thick fused glass.
Selection and Use
- Gemini’s Dichroic guide excludes ceramic tile, 1/4-inch fused glass and thick material in general.
- Use light, steady feed pressure. Clean-cut edges do not establish a universal lower kiln temperature or shorter firing schedule.
- For a Taurus 3, use its model-specific kit rather than assuming the grommets in 1038 are the same.
