Overview
Gemini 1045 is the Taurus 3 Mega Blade kit for thicker glass, ceramic tile and stone. Its tear-drop cross-section is more rigid than the round Standard blade and favors forward/backward cutting in dense material.

Applications
Choose the Mega Blade for fused glass, stained glass, ceramic tile and stone where rigidity is more useful than the narrowest possible cut.
Selection and Use
- It cuts fastest when pulling material toward you, slower when pushing away, and slowest sideways; side cutting leaves a wider cut.
- Do not use for thin dichroic glass, which can chip.
- Let the blade cut without forcing the material. Its rigidity can damage the saw if excessive pressure is applied. Demonstrate this cutting action before classroom use.
