Overview
Gemini 1043 is the Taurus 3 Separating Blade kit for internal cutouts without a cut entering from the edge of the workpiece. The round blade opens at a coupling, passes through a drilled starter hole and reconnects for cutting.

Applications
Use the Separating Blade for enclosed openings in glass patterns and other appropriate thin materials. Drill a starter hole first; the blade’s opening coupling avoids an entrance cut from the edge, not the need for initial access.
Selection and Use
- Suitable material categories include glass, shell, nonferrous metals and hard plastics such as acrylic or Lexan, within the blade’s thickness limits.
- Do not use for hard ceramic tile, 3/8-inch fused glass or thick material in general; soft wall tile is the lighter-duty tile application.
- Feed gently and follow the saw instructions when opening and reconnecting the blade.
