Overview
Gemini 1046 is the Taurus 3 Slicer Blade kit for thin-kerf, forward/backward cutting. The flat blade removes only a narrow swath, making it useful for wafers from glass rods and pattern bars and for detailed fused-glass designs.

Applications
Choose the Slicer for repeatable thin wafers or intricate front/back cuts. The compatible material families include glass, tile, stone, shell, nonferrous metals and dense plastics, but select thickness and feed to suit the job rather than treating maximum capacity as normal production duty.
Selection and Use
- Use the recommended flocked belt to resist splitting; this blade-and-grommet kit does not list a belt among its contents.
- Cut from the front and back. Sustained side cutting is slow and can damage the grommets.
- The Super Slicer is a separate jig for repeatable slicing of rods and pattern bars.
