Applications
Use on marble, limestone, travertine and terrazzo when a honing step is appropriate to the restoration plan. Choose the starting grit according to the condition and desired finish; other grades in the product family are separate products. Follow honing with a suitable polishing process only when a polished finish is required.
Selection and Use
- For professional use. Test in an inconspicuous area, protect adjacent materials, preclean the surface and allow new grout at least 72 hours to cure.
- Mix approximately 1/2 cup powder with 1 cup water to form a slurry. Keep the working area wet and follow the product instructions for machine or hand-tool operation.
- Work with the recommended natural-hair pad, keeping the slurry wet throughout the honing step.
- Remove slurry with a wet vacuum and rinse thoroughly. Use a clean pad and rinse between grit stages so coarser particles do not contaminate the next step.
