Overview
Aqua Mix KnockDown Honing Powder produces a smooth, even, honed finish on marble, limestone and travertine. The non-acidic powder removes light scratches, moderate acid etching and wear patterns when an unpolished appearance is desired.

Applications
Use for restoring or changing the finish of suitable marble, limestone and travertine. This is not a pre-polish powder; test the intended hone on a small area before treating the whole surface.
Selection and Use
- Remove sealers and coatings, clear loose debris and protect adjacent areas. Add water to the powder to form a slurry.
- Use a weighted floor machine with a natural-hair or synthetic-fiber tan pad, or a hand polishing machine. The instructions specify double-stacked pads where lippage is present.
- Keep the slurry wet while buffing and add powder as needed; harder stone requires a thicker slurry.
- Squeegee a small area to check the finish, then rinse thoroughly and wet-vacuum all remaining compound. Follow label precautions and wear skin and eye protection.
