Applications
Use on compatible granite, marble, slate, limestone, travertine, other natural stone and grout where stain resistance is wanted without a color-enhancing or high-gloss finish. Plan maintenance around exposure and use; sealing does not replace prompt spill cleanup.
Selection and Use
- Test in an inconspicuous area and allow a 24-hour test cure. Allow new grout at least 72 hours before sealing. Start with a clean, wax-free surface; after removing standing water, allow at least 1 hour before treating a damp surface.
- Apply an even coat with a paint pad, roller, brush or low-pressure sprayer. Let it penetrate 10–15 minutes, keeping the area wet with sealer as needed. Do not allow excess sealer to dry on the surface.
- Wipe off all excess. If a second coat is needed, apply it 30–40 minutes after the first application following the same process.
- If residue remains, rewet with sealer and gently work with a white nylon pad, then wipe dry. Keep traffic off 6–8 hours and allow 24–72 hours for full cure. Clean tools with water.
- Read the label for the container supplied, ventilate the area and keep children and pets away until dry.
