Overview
STONETECH GroutUp Additive replaces the mixing water in compatible cement-based grout to add resistance to water- and oil-based staining. It is mixed into the grout before installation, rather than applied as a topical treatment after the joints have cured.

Applications
Use when installing the named compatible cement-based grouts and follow their mixing, installation and cleaning directions. Do not assume the additive is appropriate for epoxy, premixed or another grout type simply because it is sold as grout.
Selection and Use
- Shake the additive before use and substitute it for the grout’s prescribed mixing water according to the product directions.
- Mix, allow the specified slake period and remix as instructed. Follow the grout manufacturer’s working-time, cleanup and traffic requirements.
- Protect the installation from submersion and freezing for at least 14 days, or the longer period specified for the grout. Microban protection does not replace normal cleaning.
