Overview
Stain-Proof Premium Impregnating Sealer is a breathable, penetrating water- and oil-repellent treatment for stone, tile, masonry and grout. Formerly Stain-Proof Original, it is designed to protect against staining while retaining the surface’s natural appearance.

Applications
Use on suitable natural stone, tile, pavers, concrete, brick and grout, indoors or outdoors. Applications include floors, walls, countertops, showers, pool surroundings, facades, patios, garages and kitchens. Soft limestone, sandstone and travertine exposed to salt or freeze-thaw conditions may need the separate 40SK treatment described in the linked manufacturer guidance.
Selection and Use
- Test a small area and assess after 24 hours; some surfaces can lighten or darken. Start with a clean, dry surface and do not thin.
- Apply the second coat approximately 10 minutes after the first, before the first dries. Remove excess about 10 minutes after the final coat, before it dries on the surface.
- Keep moisture away for at least 6 hours. Full performance develops over approximately 3–4 weeks, rather than immediately after application.
- This is not a coating against acid etching or physical wear. Wipe spills promptly and follow the product’s flammable-liquid handling precautions.
