Overview
Stain-Proof Acidic Cleaner is a concentrated cleaner for mineral deposits and construction residue on non-acid-sensitive stone and masonry. Previously known as EFF-ERAYZA, it targets efflorescence, grout haze, rust marks, limescale, soap scum, fireplace soot and mortar residue.

Applications
Use on tested, non-acid-sensitive granite, slate, basalt, brick, ceramic, porcelain and terracotta. Suitable locations include indoor and outdoor floors, walls, facades, showers and masonry. It can etch acid-sensitive surfaces and is not a general-purpose cleaner for every stone.
Selection and Use
- Test an inconspicuous area for acid sensitivity before full application. Pre-wet the surface after removing loose dirt.
- For a standard 2.5-gallon bucket three-quarters filled with clean water, the manufacturer specifies 1/2 quart for efflorescence, rust or soot; 1/4 quart for grout haze, limescale or soap scum; and 1 quart for mortar mess.
- Work in sections, allow up to 3 minutes, and do not let the solution dry. Agitate with a white nylon pad.
- Neutralize as directed with 1 cup of Stain-Proof Alkaline Cleaner or another alkaline cleaner in a bucket of fresh water; allow about 3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly several times.
- Non-fuming does not mean harmless: the product causes skin irritation and serious eye damage, may irritate breathing, and can corrode aluminum. Follow the label and safety precautions.
