SPEC MIX Stone Veneer Mortar (SVM) is a factory-blended, polymer-modified dry mortar engineered to deliver superior bond strength, anti-sag performance, and efflorescence resistance for adhered masonry veneer installations. Designed by SPEC MIX, SVM is ideal for interior and exterior wall applications using thin natural stone, thin brick, manufactured veneer, and select pavers that require a medium-bed bonding mortar (1/4″–1-1/2″).

Recommended Uses:
- Interior & exterior wall installations of:
- Thin natural stone
- Thin brick
- Manufactured adhered masonry veneer
- Select pavers (medium-bed applications)
For large, heavy, dense, or challenging veneers, use SVM 300 or SVM 500 bonding mortars.
Approved Substrates:
- Cement backer board (per manufacturer specifications)
- Masonry and CMU
- Stucco brown coat
- Pour-in-place and tilt-up concrete*
- Portland cement mortar beds
*Release agents must be completely removed prior to installation. Sandblasting or bead blasting is required; pressure washing is not acceptable.
