SPEC MIX Stone Veneer Mortar SVM is a factory-blended, polymer-modified mortar for adhered thin stone, thin brick and manufactured masonry veneer. This grey 94 lb bag is the coarse-sand format identified in the linked technical sheet for medium-bed bonding applications.

Applications
Use for interior or exterior wall installations over suitable cement backer board, masonry or CMU, stucco brown coat, properly prepared concrete and Portland-cement mortar beds. The coarse grade also serves compatible paver applications requiring a medium-bed bonding mortar.
Selection and Use
- For large, heavy, dense or otherwise challenging veneers, the manufacturer directs users to SVM 300 or SVM 500.
- Remove release agents from poured or tilt-up concrete by sandblasting or bead blasting; pressure washing is not accepted for that preparation.
- Do not apply over fluid-applied membranes or where temperatures may fall below 40°F before or during cure.
- Coverage varies with veneer, preparation and installation method. Prepare a sample panel and follow the linked mixing and application instructions.
- System warranties depend on use within the qualifying E-Z Mix wall assembly and its terms; the mortar alone is not an unconditional system warranty.
