Overview
Silco Sil-Bond RTV 3500 is a mildew-resistant, one-part silicone sealant and adhesive for sealing joints, especially interior areas exposed to high moisture. Its acetoxy formula cures at room temperature to form waterproof and airtight bonds when fully cured.

Applications
Use RTV 3500 for compatible kitchen and bath joints, countertops, sanitary seals and glazing. Its listed above-grade interior/exterior applications also include HVAC/R, plumbing, roofing, precast concrete, transportation seals, marine cabins and appliance trim.
Selection and Use
- The technical sheet lists adhesion to metal, steel, tile, fiberglass, ceramic, glass, aluminum, painted surfaces, wood, plywood and marble; verify the actual substrate and finish before application.
- Choose the translucent color needed for the joint from this page’s selector.
- Allow the sealant to cure through the joint before relying on its fully cured waterproof properties. The laboratory cure-rate figure is not a universal 24-hour completion time.
