Overview
Silco Gen-Sil RTV 45 is a general-purpose, one-part silicone sealant and adhesive for construction and industrial sealing. It cures at room temperature to a flexible rubber, forming waterproof and airtight bonds once fully cured.

Applications
Gen-Sil is used for windows, doors, skylights, HVAC/R, plumbing, roofing, kitchen and bath joints, countertops and sanitary seals. The technical sheet also lists industrial gaskets, precast concrete, transportation seals, marine cabins and appliance trim.
Selection and Use
- Verify adhesion and compatibility with the actual joint surfaces; listed substrates include metal, steel, tile, fiberglass, ceramic, glass, aluminum, painted surfaces, plywood and marble.
- Select the required color from the options on this page; manufacturer-wide color availability does not mean every color is offered here.
- Allow for the joint depth and curing conditions. A typical cure rate of 1/8 in. per day is not a promise that every joint is fully cured after 24 hours.
