Overview
Sikaflex Construction Sealant is a single-component, non-sag polyurethane sealant for flexible building joints and gaps. It cures with moisture to form an elastic, weather-resistant seal, making the non-sag formula useful for both vertical and horizontal joint work.

Applications
Seal compatible joints at walls, floors, balconies, windows and door frames. Suitable joint interfaces include brick, block, masonry, wood, concrete and metal. Use this non-sag formula where a pourable self-leveling sealant would not remain in the joint.
Selection and Use
- Choose the color and package together: only selections explicitly labeled 12 Pack supply twelve cartridges.
- For a properly designed joint, use backer rod or a bond breaker to prevent three-sided adhesion. Follow the manufacturer’s joint width/depth limits and preparation instructions.
- Current manufacturer directions allow application to new concrete after 24 hours of curing and previously wet concrete one hour after the water source stops, provided standing water is absent and the preparation conditions are met.
- Concrete form removal and control-joint cutting have separate waiting requirements; consult the current manufacturer directions for the supplied cartridge.
- Test paint, stain and other finishes before broad use. Curing time depends on temperature, humidity and joint size.
