Overview
Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus is a solvent-based penetrating sealer for porous stone, tile, grout and masonry. It provides water, oil and stain resistance without creating a surface coating, making it useful when the goal is to preserve the material’s natural appearance.

Applications
Choose Porous Plus for absorbent materials such as limestone, sandstone, slate, Saltillo, terra cotta, flagstone and cement grout. The manufacturer also lists granite, marble, quartzite, travertine, ceramic and porcelain tile. Residential and commercial uses include floors, counters, showers, patios and pool decks.
Selection and Use
- Test several inconspicuous areas for absorption and appearance before treating the installation. The quoted coverage is not a uniform yield for every stone.
- Apply undiluted to a dry, clean surface. Let it penetrate for about 3–5 minutes, then buff away all excess before it dries. Do not leave puddles.
- For pre-grout use, treat the face without saturating open joints and allow 6–12 hours before grouting. Seal grout only after its specified cure.
- Keep the finished area dry and free from staining materials for 72 hours. Sealing does not prevent acid etching.
