Overview
The Makita XRH10PTW is a cordless SDS-PLUS rotary-hammer kit with a DX08 HEPA dust-extractor attachment and two 18V LXT 5.0Ah batteries. The paired batteries power the 36V brushless tool, which combines a 1-1/8 in. concrete-drilling capacity with AVT vibration reduction and three operating modes.

Applications
Drilling and Chiseling
Choose rotation only, hammering with rotation or hammering only for the operation. For concrete drilling, the optimum range is 3/16–5/8 in., within the tool’s 1-1/8 in. maximum capacity. Makita rates up to 140 holes measuring 1/2 in. x 2-3/8 in. per charge with two 18V 5.0Ah batteries; that is a specified test configuration, not a guaranteed count for every material or bit.
Dust Extraction and Wireless Options
The supplied DX08 attachment uses a HEPA filter, filter-cleaning mechanism and a three-second suction delay. Makita identifies the matched drilling system for OSHA Table 1 use; compliance depends on the required setup, operation and work practices, not simply owning the tool.
AWS capability allows communication with compatible external dust extractors when the required AWS wireless unit is fitted. The AWS unit 198901-5 is sold separately. Follow the linked instruction manual for the dust attachment, bit changes and operating precautions.
