Overview
The Makita XAG04T kit supplies an XAG04Z brushless 4-1/2 in./5 in. cut-off/angle grinder, two 5.0Ah batteries, rapid charger and bag. Its 8,500 rpm motor and Automatic Speed Change respond to changing loads, while the slide switch includes lock-on.

Applications
For grinding, cutting and sanding tile, concrete, pipe and conduit with the appropriate accessory. Match the wheel and guard to the operation; a grinding guard does not establish a complete cut-off setup.
Selection and Use
- AFT turns off the motor if the wheel is suddenly forced to stop; anti-restart protection helps prevent unintended restart.
- Automatic Speed Change adjusts speed and torque under load; it is not a manual variable-speed dial.
- The listed 5.6 lb. weight includes a battery, not just the bare tool.
