Overview
HYDRO BAN Sealing Tape is the narrow sheet-membrane strip used to waterproof seams and transitions in HYDRO BAN sheet assemblies. This 5 in. wide roll is useful for connecting adjacent membrane sections and detailing changes in plane without using a full-width sheet.

Use in interior sheet-waterproofing assemblies for showers, tub surrounds, bathrooms, wet areas, kitchens and steam showers or steam rooms. The tape is a detailing component, not the liquid HYDRO BAN membrane.
Plan Your Installation
- Measure the seams and transitions to estimate tape length, allowing for the overlaps required by the system instructions.
- Choose modified or unmodified thin-set according to the substrate-specific requirements.
- Use preformed corners or collars where the detail calls for them, and complete the field membrane around the taped connections.

Can this sheet-system tape be specified for a swimming pool?
