HYDRO BAN Preformed Curb is a solid, lightweight EPS shower curb with factory-applied waterproof coating. Its tile-ready surface replaces traditional curb construction, and the 5 ft. piece can be trimmed on site following the manufacturerās instructions.

Applications
Use where a preformed curb is specified in residential, commercial or industrial bathrooms or wet areas, including stalled gang showers and pet showers. Listed bases include concrete, masonry, tile/stone, exterior-glue plywood, cement backer board, OSB or Advantech as permitted by the curb detail.
Plan Your Installation
- Measure the shower entry and dry-fit the curb before bonding or making allowed cuts.
- The listed installation materials include a utility knife or fine-tooth saw, latex-fortified large-and-heavy-tile mortar such as 4-XLT, a 1/2 x 1/2 in. square-notch trowel and HYDRO BAN Adhesive & Sealant.
- Complete waterproofing connections at the curb, pan and walls before tiling, and coordinate any enclosure support with its required assembly.
