Overview
TechMVC is a two-component, 100%-solids epoxy coating for professional control of concrete moisture-vapor emissions and alkalinity beneath finished flooring. The 2.65-gallon kit forms a single-coat barrier on properly prepared concrete within the manufacturer’s measured moisture and surface requirements.
Features
- Suitable for approved concrete measuring up to 100% RH and up to 25 lb. MVER per 1,000 sq. ft. per 24 hours.
- Alkali resistance through pH 14; solvent-free, low-viscosity application.
- Typically primer-ready in about 4 hours at the stated test conditions.

Applications
Use beneath a compatible interior flooring system when concrete moisture or alkalinity must be controlled before installing underlayment and finish flooring. This is a professional moisture-mitigation coating, not a general tile adhesive, primer substitute or exposed floor finish.
Selection and Use
- Test the slab and prepare the concrete to the technical sheet. Do not install over gypsum-based floors or when slab pH is below 8 without CUSTOM’s direction.
- Choose coverage from slab location and required minimum film thickness. Do not stretch a kit beyond the coverage that achieves the specified thickness.
- Mix the two components exactly as instructed and work within the available application time. Cooler conditions extend cure.
- Protect the cured film from traffic, dust and damage until the underlayment or protective layer is applied. Repair damaged areas before covering.
