Overview
Saltillo Grout in #09 Natural Gray is a preblended cement-and-sand grout for the wide joints commonly used with terra-cotta, Saltillo and quarry tile. It removes the need to add extra sand to a conventional grout at the jobsite.

Applications
Choose Saltillo Grout when the installation calls for a wide-joint grout rather than a narrow-joint sanded or non-sanded formula. Absorptive terra-cotta and rough-textured tile require special attention to staining and cleanup.
Selection and Use
- Test the tile first; porous surfaces may need a compatible sealer or grout release before grouting. The aggregate can scratch some delicate finishes.
- For increased strength, Thin-Set & Mortar Admix may replace half the water requirement as directed. Do not add extra water after the mix becomes stiff.
- Allow the recommended 10-minute slake and remix. Blend dry material when using multiple bags and keep cleanup water controlled to reduce color variation.
- Do not use in movement joints or for harsh continuous chemical service. Follow the exterior curing and weather-protection instructions where applicable.
