Overview
Prism Ultimate Performance Grout is a rapid-setting, calcium-aluminate cement grout with polymer modification, lightweight recycled glass and fine aggregate. This 17-pound dry-mix version forms dense, stain-resistant joints up to 1/2 inch and is different from the ready-to-use Prism SCG product.

Applications
Use Prism cement grout on interior or exterior floors and walls, countertops, tub surrounds, showers and suitable high-traffic tile installations. It is compatible with appropriate ceramic, porcelain, glass, brick, precast terrazzo and natural stone, including specified submerged applications after curing.
Selection and Use
- Test delicate tile for scratching and porous or textured surfaces for staining. A pre-sealer or grout release may be needed even though the cured grout itself does not require sealing.
- Blend dry powder from multiple containers for consistency, mix below 300 RPM and allow a 5-minute slake. Do not add water later to revive stiff grout.
- Intermittent water exposure generally requires 3 days of cure; allow 14 days before filling submerged installations. Protect exterior work from rain for at least 7 days above 50°F.
- Use an appropriate sealant in movement joints and changes of plane. Avoid harsh-chemical industrial service; consult CUSTOM about colored grout in saltwater pools.
