Overview
Prism SCG is a ready-to-use, single-component sanded grout for tile joints from 1/16 to 1/2 inch. Unlike dry cement-based Prism grout, SCG needs no mixing and cures by evaporation, offering stain resistance, crack resistance and no efflorescence without requiring a sealer.
Features

- Meets the ANSI A118.19 premixed-grout standard.
- Built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection protects the grout product; it does not replace cleaning.
- For suitable residential and commercial floor, wall and ceiling work.
Specifications
- Joint width and depth: 1/16–1/2 in. width; do not exceed 1/2 in. depth
- Mixing: Ready to use; do not power-mix
- Application temperature: 50–90°F
- Typical light traffic: 24 hours at 70°F and 50% RH
- Intermittent water: 72 hours under those conditions; cooler/damper sites take longer

Applications
Use for suitable countertops, backsplashes, tub surrounds, shower walls and floors, and high-traffic tile areas. Most exterior applications are permitted with the required cure protection, but SCG is not a grout for pools, water features, steam rooms or steam showers.
Selection and Use
- Ensure the setting material has dried and ventilation permits evaporation. Do not use over concrete exceeding 5 lb. moisture emissions or 85% RH.
- Test aggregate-sensitive glass, mirror, polished stone and other delicate finishes. Porous or heavily textured tile may need grout release or pre-sealing.
- Do not use where irregular stone or pebble joints exceed 1/2 inch in width or depth. Use sealant, not grout, at movement joints and changes of plane.
- Approve color with a cured sample rather than wet grout in the pail. Protect exterior work from wet weather for at least 7 days above 50°F.
- Not intended for harsh continuous industrial chemicals, high-pressure cleaning or service surface temperatures above 160°F.
