Overview
Aqua Mix Grout Colorant Pre-Treat Cleaner cleans and lightly etches non-epoxy grout before applying Aqua Mix Grout Colorant. The ready-to-use 8 oz. cleaner removes dirt, soap scum and hard-water deposits that can interfere with the colorant bond.

Applications
Use to prepare suitable grout on countertops, backsplashes and showers before coloring. This acidic preparation is not for epoxy grout or acid-sensitive surrounding stone and metallic glazes.
Selection and Use
- Allow new grout to cure at least 10 days. Remove loose debris and pre-wet the area.
- Apply to manageable sections of grout; dwell 1–2 minutes, scrub with a nylon or natural-bristle brush or white pad, and do not let it dry.
- Rinse thoroughly and towel dry. Allow at least 2 hours before applying Grout Colorant.
- Do not mix with bleach or other cleaners. Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection; protect acid-sensitive surfaces.
