Overview
ARDEX X 3 PLUS is a polymer-modified mortar for large and heavy tile, stone with varying thicknesses and everyday tile installations. Its non-sag consistency supports wall and floor work.

Applications
Use over properly prepared substrates in approved interior or exterior tile assemblies. Exterior-grade plywood is for interior applications; concrete, masonry, existing tile and other surfaces require the preparation and priming specified for this mortar.
Selection and Use
- Coverage is approximate and depends on the substrate and trowel. Trowel size is not the finished mortar-bed thickness.
- Moisture-sensitive stone requires a different product selection; follow the stone manufacturer and ARDEX recommendations.
- Not for glass tile or submerged installations.
- Embedded bond-coat range is 3/32–1/2 in.; prepare and level the substrate before setting tile.
