Applications
Use on suitable unpolished slate, Saltillo tile, limestone, travertine and concrete. Do not use on glazed, polished or non-absorbing surfaces, wood floors or decks, showers, countertops or pool areas. Finished surfaces can be slippery when wet.
Selection and Use
- Test adhesion and appearance first. Remove dirt, dust, existing sealers and coatings; the surface must be thoroughly dry. Avoid direct sunlight and apply at 50–80°F.
- Allow new grout at least 72 hours to cure and fresh concrete at least 28 days. Protect nearby materials and keep children and pets away until dry.
- Shake well and do not dilute. Apply evenly with a natural-bristle brush or roller, avoiding puddles. A low-pressure or pump-up garden sprayer is also allowed by the linked High Gloss data sheet.
- Allow each coat to dry before the next. Keep the finish dry and free of traffic for at least 12 hours after the final coat; allow 24–48 hours for full cure. Clean tools immediately with water.
- Maintain clean, dry surfaces. Expected wear is up to 5 years, but higher-traffic areas may need earlier touch-up.
